The other picture is inspired by a fic by the amazing lilien_passe; I wonder where she went? She wrote some through and through awesome stuff, mmyep.

Argh. Why do these bloody stupid counting sheep CD's keep giving me fic ideas?

Spain: I get the feeling that Prussia doesn't exactly care whether he's actually fine or not.
France: Well, he was born just for the purpose of fighting in battle.
Spain: Speaking of, where did Prussia go? I haven't seen him around lately.
France: Who knows? Maybe he's making some sort of cunning trap for the enemy. He went off in our strategy meeting yesterday too. The two of us and him are completely different fundamentally. It's not that big of a deal if we just leave him alone.

...Different? How? That's why he's not dead yet? And are they friends or not?

France: [Prussia] looks like he'd fall asleep easily. He's probably sleeping by now! He does have his "Whoa, what?!" moments in him, but when it comes time to battle, he's a dependable guy.

Yay~ I do like that there are canon hints that Gilbo's EPIC FAIL doesn't include fighting. Mainly because it matches my own headcanon...

And then the end, heeehe *gigglesnort* I may have to play the CD just to hear it out loud ^^; Maybe while I cook?

The reason I decided to come back to Hetalia - well, ok, besides the fact that I have finally finished moving and have an internet at home after like a month of netlessness. That helped

I love Germany's Hatafutte Parade. I mean, seriously, it's his best song so far. The Marukaite was funny, but not really good and while German Anthem had it's points, it's not something that is easily looped. Einsamkeit was way too boring, I mostly listen to the changed-pitch version Einsamkeit 1947 now, because turning it into a "duet" makes it more dynamic.

But this? It's even better than Italy's original version. Very nice to listen to, I like the violin swoops! Germany also sounds a bit drunk, heh, especially if you read the lyrics.

And Prussia got a great new song too, kinda

Now, Ore-sama no uta definitely has it's charm. It is also one of the most IC image songs I've heard from Hetalia (er, possibly discounting a few of the later Marukaite's which I haven't listened to more than once). Still, a bit hard to sing along to (this counts for a lot!) and he spends a bit too much time growling for my tastes. Then came Mein Gott! which sounded nice, but really too much like a thousand other anime songs.

Just recently, I heard the band version (aka semi-rockish live version) and I went hell yeah!! A bit rougher than the original, but still very catchy and happy, and he actually gets to sing for real *heart*

I don't understand people who don't like Prussia's anime voice, really. I know most of the MAD's and song remixes uses some high, smooth voice, but I can't see that. Imagine who you'd hear most over a big battle field, the hoarse crackpot voice or the fanon one? Also, he's not refined like that silly Austria or anything, that's half his point...

Ahem, a tangent.

Anyway, these are good. But dear Hetalia rights holders, would it kill you to bring out a bloody CAST SONG SOUNDTRACK?? I want to buy it, but I don't want a bunch of useless singles I'd never use :( A full-lenght cd, plzthx

I can't say that I actually have a particular kink for office porn, although the things I could imagine Germany getting up to - or getting tangled in, perhaps? - at an office are... interesting.

It's more that of the few office stuff pr0nz I've read, there are a few that really stand out. I still remember from the Gundam Wing fandom, a story called "Paperwork? What Paperwork?". 13x6 (or the other way around, can't honestly remember) and at the time I found it hot as hell and with a very funny little twist at the end. Good shit

And then there's stuff like this fic: The Secretary, Jack and Ianto (from Torchwood) PWP which manages to include one hell of a list of office supplies in a very sexy way.

I'm like - what, wait? When did masking tape and paperclips turn sexy? And the answer is, of course, that a good author can make just about anything sexy

In other news, the work with the apartment is starting to happen, the work at work is happening to slowly (oh stress and woes) and the writing is. Not. Sorry, don't have the mental energy right now. So I just spam you with my random ficporn thoughts

I've been crazy creative these last days, working on two fics, proofread and done a bunch of other stuff... All the while working a lot. So I'm a bit tired tonight ^^;

They're talking about voices and music at the main Hetalia comm, so I thought I'd collect some of my own thoughts here. Bit too tired to do anything serious right now anyway
