It's true though. Some might've felt (especially Finland) that we were being cowardly or simply unwilling. *finds Churchill's comment (mentioned in emlan's art post) about Sweden as cowards to be unjust though* We didn't really have the possibility to join, whether we wanted to or not. We had been a country at peace for some 140 years or so by then. We simply didn't HAVE an army worthy of mentioning, more or less. If we would have told Germany to fuck off, we would've been done and over with within a week's time or so (to put it in extreme terms ^^;). Sad but probably true. (Give us 5 more years and we've been out of war, officially, for 200 years. :-D)
But this was a very good fic, as said. I dont' think it's historical fail. ^^
