*cough* As someone who has yet to write a bottoming Austria (I think) but has had him top Prussia some, what, three times by now, I can't say I've been that influenced by any uke-stereotypes of his. but he's totally an uke to Germany
I read Austria as someone who always strives to be very dignified, very in control... when he's a weaker nation, this means he just goes with the flow a lot, because fighting when he knows he'll lose anyway is just too pathetic for his self-image. But if you remember the WWII strip where France has taken spy-photos of Austria (working for Germany etc) there's definitely an inner bastard waiting to come out. And he even pulls out his musical baton to discipline France!
