But as for your ANs, I think you did a good job keeping the balance between the characters behaving like complete assholes while staying IC. Germany's distance made me bawww already on the meme, but honestly that's just because I adore these two being brotherly, while RL-Germany is actually rather cold and unforgiving in its view towards Prussia. And Austria, well. I prefer how you usually write them (the waltzing fic and the, uh, recent request fills ;)), but from their history I can see him being a total ass to Prussia like he is here.
Again, having S.Italy and Ireland of all people to help him seems like an odd choice first, but plausible in its own way. Also, very cute. (Your sneaky, gender-less writing for Ireland completely escaped me the first time, I have to admit, but mostly because teruhiko's Ireland kept sneaking his way into the plot all the time, dammit.)
