I'm just a little bit proud that of the four fics using the tag "Berlin Wall" at AO3, three are mine... Otoh, it would be awfully nice to find some new stuff to read there. In time, I hope there'll be more Hetalia fics hosted there with this tag, since it's one of my favorite topics ^_^

Also, I have not worked further on the sequel as I should but have instead written weird-ass shit involving Nazis. It is mostly my attempt to, y'know' reconfiguring being a rather vocal anti-Nazi/racism/prejudices person in RL with liking the characters of Prussia and Germany (ETA: Especially considering the setting Hetalia takes place in)
...but I feel it'll mostly come off as strange. And possibly offensive, so I dunno what to do with this shit

It's not even slash, so hell if I know if it fits posting at Meinbruder -_-

maaan, I envy people who are able to write in a good style. Especially when it is in a language that is not their native tongue.
Right now I'm doing a one on one aph rp with ghrelin on aim/icq and I outright suck at it. *sigh* If it would be in German it would be no problem at all, but this way... I feel horrible. My sentences read like a tapeworm that suffers from congestion.

Sadly I must creat an account for the page you've linked to be able to read your stuff but I don't want to join yet another one. >_<;

I've been writing in English for a little over five years and I still do such stupid mistakes - it's quite frustrating. Especially when I know I've done something wrong, but I can't fix it right =(

Hmm, that's strange, I don't think I've locked anything visitors...? I just have to accept this: "This work potentially has adult content. If you proceed you have agreed that you are willing to see such content." and then I could see it, when I logged out and tried

Anyway, it's all here in my LJ too ^_^
I just don't like LJ as a long-term hosting choice, because it is difficult to get a good overview and whatnot, so I'm slowly reposting everything to AO3.

*sniff* I wish I could speak German better... I used to be able to write acceptable school essays and now? Woe, for my grammar has failed!

One thing I figured about good Hetalia writers is that they need to be pretty fireproof. Anything in this fandom is potentially offensive. It just depends on how you look at it.

Which reminds me I totally need to update that place one of these days. It looks pretty interesting on the whole, even though I haven't had time to browse it properly.

... which also reminds me, I never actually wrote any Berlin Wall fic. Nor did I ever start that alternate history thing where Austria was part of the Eastern Bloc. It sounded interesting in my head at the time. Maybe I should pick it up again.

darn, I had this big comment written and then LJ ate it. oh well.

This thing I'm talking about, since it touches upon why the characters that I like are what they are feel a bit more sensitive than most. Or maybe it's just me who'se sensitive of the topic - but I would hate myself if I whitewashed what happened in Germany before and during the war. At the same time, it's something I need to type down, to try and nail fast and figure out how and why the nation-tans as characters did. Er, if that makes sense?

Your Austria AU did sound very interesting, well-thought out too! I definitely think you should pick it up again, it would be quite interesting to read =)
