Musical inspiration for writing!
Do you have character inspiration songs?
When I write Prussia, I tend to listen to the Vocaloid video of Prussia and Austria arguing. I just discovered this MAD too, and I think I'll use it if I ever want to write him in total fail scenes XD
If I'm not mistaken, that's Gakupoid singing in the second one as well and, yeah, I think his voice fits Gilbo really well...
Austria otoh is classical music all the way. Since I'm a an uncultured clod, it's pretty much "Youtubehopping" starting with An der schöne blaue Donau.
Germany is usually written in silence, but depending on the mood I like to play a little Die Ärzte while thinking about the fic. I can, however, not write while listening to Die Ärzte because I get distracted by their lyrics. The boys amuse me too much
BDSM = Rammstein. Sorry.
And my latest pr0n fic is written under the influence of too damned much Fairytale. I fear for my sanity a bit, especially as it does not involve Norway in any way.
In other news, I'm looking for a beta for a certain Italy/Germany/Prussia threesome earlier posted on the kink-meme. Anyone wants to help out? I need language/grammar beta + overall coherence since it's been written in comment-sized snippets. I will of course also gladly accept characterization and other kinds of beta :)
