Everyone has already said pretty much what was running through my head as I read this, but I just had to add my two cents.
You are a fuckin' amazing writer, and this fic was one of the few I've had the pleasure of reading that manages to seamlessly integrate such a confusing and poignant chapter in history with a true rendition of these amazingly complex characters. Unfortunately, now I need to go have a good cry over how nothing I manage to come up with will be able to hold a candle to this. *laughs*
